A large amount of our work is removing wear patterns in high traffic areas, this is particularly evident near security pedestrian flow barriers in main reception area. This treatment supplemented with specialist seals can ensure the area can be matched and blended with the remainder of the floor area.

Recoat Testimonial from Adam Simm from JPC
Over the course of 2023, we had the pleasure of working alongside Pete Blair at MDS (HYGIENE SUPPORT) LIMITED and Recoat BV UK Ltd to restore and protect some of the flooring at Battersea Power Station. The process took considerable research and trailing but resulted in a resounding success. The water-based Recoat product was applied during the night and could be walked on the next day with no impact on customer experience except an improved look for the floor. In January, the MDS (HYGIENE SUPPORT) LIMITED team returned to work on the notoriously challenging, high footfall steps that lead out to the Thames. The impact of this recent work has been astonishing. Not only has the day to day effort and time needed on this area drastically reduced but the overall look of the area is an incredible improvement.

Fila SR95 was applied to the area covering the stain totally and was left  to dwell on the surface for 15min.  Then the area was mechanically scrubbed clean with fresh water to remove all the residue and oil paint from the floor.

A recently restored granite work top that had been severely damaged by an accumulation of water and mineral deposits. The sinks and taps were removed and the stone was diamond cut until the desired hone achieved, then sealed & polished by vitrification
Marble Flooring
Example of our ability to re surface a marble floor to remove wear patterns and return surface to a nearly new appearance. In this example we have also removed & replaced the pointing (grout) between the tiles to ensure the best possible finish.

An example of a soft stone having been severely damaged by foot fall over a period of 3 years, the surface had been scratched so badly that the appearance seemed to be grey instead of Black. The surface was diamond cut using 5 grades of diamonds until hone achieved, then sealed and polished by vitrification.

A common staining issue is acidic toilet bowl cleaner splashes and spillages onto marble floors. In this example we were we are able to repair the excessive damage by diamond cutting and offer advice on future preventative measures in what was an extremely busy washroom.
